Dr. Flavio Turchet graduated from the University of Toronto in 1978. Upon graduation, he completed a residency program at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto. On a humanitarian trip to Haiti, he also provided dentistry to the underserved and subsequently raised funds and equipment for other trips. He did the same for residents of the Attawapiskat First Nation, located on James Bay in Northern Ontario. Since then, Dr. Turchet is now a retired dentist who spent the majority of his career in a private practice in Bloor West Village. Included in his many accomplishments, he has been President of the Toronto Academy of Dentistry twice, the President of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO) twice, President of the West Toronto Dental Society and he also taught clinical dentistry at U of T for many years. He has also been very active in the community in leadership roles with the Etobicoke Basketball Association, Caledon Ski Club and Our Lady of Sorrows Church, to mention a few.
Dr. Sharon Nguyen was born in Montreal and graduated from McGill University’s dental school in 2001 with numerous awards and distinctions, including the Dean’s Honour List. She completed a multidisciplinary residency in dentistry and a Master’s in Business Administration at McGill in 2004. After several years in private practice as a family dentist, she pursued specialty training in orthodontics at Jacksonville University in Florida, earning her Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in 2010 and receiving an award for Outstanding Research. Dr. Nguyen is a past President of the Chinese Canadian Dental Society and holds a Fellowship in the Royal College of Dentists of Canada. Fluent in English, French, and Vietnamese, she enjoys traveling, museums, orchids, and cheesecake. Dr. Nguyen is passionate about helping patients achieve confident, healthy smiles through personalized orthodontic care.

Dr. Osama Soliman is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, and an active elected member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO) for District #8. Born in Mississauga, he studied at the University of Toronto’s Trinity College, earning majors in Life Science and Physiology and a minor in Anthropology, before completing his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of Pennsylvania. He went on to complete his internship and residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Virginia Commonwealth University. Dr. Soliman has published extensively on dental implants, digital workflows, and jaw pathology, and contributed three chapters to Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Secrets. He currently serves as a clinical instructor at the University of Toronto and the Toronto Institute for Dental Excellence, and lectures nationally and internationally on digital dentistry, Cone Beam CT, implantology, and oral surgery.
Dr. Nancy Di Santo is a dedicated dental professional with nearly 25 years of experience in general and cosmetic dentistry. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Toronto in 1994 and is an active member of the Ontario Dental Association (ODA), and the Canadian Dental Association (CDA). Currently, Dr. Di Santos is serving as the chair of quality assurance at the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO). Since 2014, she has contributed as a non-council member on various RCDSO committees, and since 2018, has served as the treatment plan coordinator for third-year DDS students at the University of Toronto. At her practice, Village Dental, Dr. Di Santo is known for building strong patient relationships and delivering high-quality care. She pursues ongoing professional development to stay current with clinical innovations and evolving standards. Outside her clinical role, she is active in philanthropy, serving on the Fundraising Committee and as Chair of the Gala Committee at St. André Bessette Catholic Church. She enjoys fashion, design, travel, and is currently taking flute lessons. Married since 1995, she lives in Vaughan with her husband and son.

Dr. Bassam Petros earned his dental degree from the University of Baghdad College of Dentistry in 1991. In 2008, he pursued his Canadian dental degree at the University of Western Ontario, where he served as President of the International Trained Dentists from 2008 to 2010. During his studies, he furthered his training with extensive implant courses at the University of New York in 2009. Dr. Petros has been practicing dentistry in Ontario since 2010, gaining valuable experience across various fields including cosmetic, surgical, and orthodontics. Committed to staying at the forefront of his field, Dr. Petros regularly participates in continuing education courses to update his knowledge of the latest methods and materials in dentistry. Outside of work, he enjoys barbecuing, cheering on the Raptors, and indulging in superhero cartoons.
Dr. Fadi Dawood is a highly skilled and compassionate general dentist, proudly serving the Hamilton community as the owner and lead clinician at Hamilton Care Dental Centre. With a strong commitment to patient-centered care, Dr. Dawood blends clinical excellence with a warm, approachable demeanor, making him a trusted provider for patients of all ages. Dr. Dawood earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Melbourne in Australia in 2019, where he developed a strong foundation in evidence-based dentistry and advanced clinical techniques. After completing his degree, he returned to Ontario and received his license from the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario in early 2020. Since then, he has dedicated himself to delivering quality, comprehensive dental care in a comfortable and modern setting. Outside of his professional commitments, Dr. Dawood enjoys watching sports and cherishing moments with friends and family.
Born in Libya, Dr. Alkhalili attended Libyan International University’s Faculty of Dentistry. After moving to Canada, he completed the National Dental Examining Board (NDEB) exam to certify his degree. Dr. Alkhalili is proud to be part of the Canadian Dental Association and International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). Dr. Alkhalili is deeply committed to O’Ville Dental and focuses on providing a wide range of dependable, effective, and efficient dental services to his patients. Experienced in all facets of general dentistry, he is keenly interested in helping patients resolve functional and aesthetic concerns, and in using oral surgery to address complex oral health issues related to the mouth, lower face, and jaw. When Dr. Alkhalili is not treating smiles, he enjoys staying active with soccer, tennis, swimming, and regular gym workouts. He also cherishes opportunities to spend quality time with his family and friends, fostering deep and meaningful connections.
Dr. Janood is a highly accomplished dental surgeon with a Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Stomatology from Belarusian State Medical University and a strong track record in clinical research, healthcare delivery, and dental practice. With extensive experience in both general and cosmetic dentistry, he is known for providing advanced, high-quality care tailored to the unique needs of each patient. His work reflects a commitment to excellence, precision, and continuous learning, as he actively stays up to date with the latest innovations and techniques in the field. Dr. Janood has also demonstrated strong leadership and consulting skills within the medical practice industry, contributing to improved patient outcomes and clinic operations. Fluent in English, Russian, Urdu, Punjabi, and Hindi, he is able to serve a broad and diverse patient population with professionalism and clarity. His dedication to both technical mastery and patient-centered care has earned him respect among peers and trust from his patients.
Scott McCullough graduated from University of Toronto in Physical and Health Education and completed a post graduate certificate in Sports Injury Management from Sheridan College. He was certified as an Athletic Therapist in 1996 and has been treating professional athletes for the past 28 years. Scott has worked for the Vancouver/Memphis Grizzlies and for the past 17 years has served as the Toronto Raptors’ Head Athletic Therapist. Scott received his Master’s of Science (Human Movement) from AT Still University in 2010. Scott was inspired to become an Athletic Therapist after injuring his knee, while playing volleyball at the University of Toronto. He was drawn to the enjoyment and interactions between the patients and the therapists as well as assessment and treatment of sports injuries. His passion for overall health and fitness, along with the desire to work in professional sports led him down the pathway of becoming a certified athletic therapist. Scott still remains as an active member of the NBA Health and Safety Committee.
Fahad Jilani is the founder of Jilani Place, a next-generation coworking space redefining how professionals work and connect. With over a decade of experience in managing and renovating commercial real estate, including over 200,000 square feet of assets and projects like 295 The West Mall, Fahad has built a reputation for operational excellence and innovation. Drawing on his deep knowledge of design, architecture, and technology, he launched Jilani Place in 2024 as a premium coworking environment integrating smart infrastructure, wellness-focused amenities, and high-performance workspaces. His vision centers on blending productivity with well-being, offering executives, creatives, and entrepreneurs a seamless experience through features such as private smart offices, a podcast studio, a Relaxation Room, and concierge-level services. Fahad continues to anticipate trends like hybrid work, automation, and health-conscious design, ensuring that Jilani Place evolves to meet the changing needs of top-tier professionals.
